We're going to be TV advertising in about a month, and we are in the process of creating the TV ad itself. This is a "concept" version of the ad, not the final version - or even a first draft. But you can get the idea of the format from it. Obviously, we'll be adding our main guests and whatnot for the final version. Suggestions are welcome.

Today was the last Sci-Fi day at the library until further notice. Apparently, one of the board members of the library has decided we can't show them until we get permission from the movie company for each movie we want to show. We're going to start that process soon, but unfortunately...

Possible Date for 2008

While nothing is definite yet, our current plan is to move the date back to the end of July (I think its the 26th, but check to make sure). Otakon is the second weekend in August in 2008, and neither con wants to coincide with them. Therefore, MechaCon moved back one week. We don't want to coincide with either of them, so we moved back two weeks. This could change if our preferred venue is already booked, and any other myriad of reasons, so don't go marking your calendars just yet!

I have to pass on a compliment to you all. Well, it wont seem like a compliment until you understand my husband. I call him Mr. Fun because he isnt. His idea of good time is to sit at home and watch a movie. Hes a black and white kind of guy, and he wont even dress up for Halloween. Hes also a jock. (I have no idea how I ended up with a jock.)

What will the party limit be for attendees based on space size; the room has a posted limit. Will you restrict sales as other places do to say the first one hundred ticket sales for the party?

This should strongly be reviewed as a safety issue if you oversell the movie and party.

Andrew and the others do not seem to frequent this board, I thought this board was for the Babelcon staff.

It seems that there are issues I would feel more comfertable with if they would join the dialogue as well.
